Use the resources below to learn more about the provider network and find a covered doctor, hospital or other health care provider in your area.

Please note: For LSU First retirees living in Louisiana wishing to take advantage of Virtual Doctor Visits, we encourage you to utilize AmWell for this service.  Currently, Doctors on Demand is unable to prescribe medications in the State of Louisiana.

Since the LSU First plan is a PPO plan, you have the option to choose providers in the UnitedHealthcare network or providers who may not be in the UnitedHealthcare network, but accept Medicare.  If your provider accepts Medicare, they would be able to bill UnitedHealthcare as well.  If you find your provider on the Medicare website, but not on the UnitedHealthcare network, please contact UnitedHealthcare at 877-791-9968 to verify if your provider accepts the LSU First plan with UnitedHealthcare.
